Kayla has continued a great year in athletics by winning the Canterbury Secondary Schools U14 high jump title. She recently won the Canterbury U13 title and also set a new U14 record for the high jump at Avonside Girls' High. She now goes forward to represent her school at the SI Secondary championship in Invercargill and we then go to Hamilton where she will represent Canterbury at the national Inter Provincial championships. I am a very proud dad and coach. All three of my senior athletes won Canterbury Secondary school titles this weekend, they have worked so hard this year.
